KIDS N CATS is an electronic pop band from Vienna, Austria. They have travelled around the globe for more than a year, creating one song in each of the 11 countries they visited – some of which led to fruity musical cooperations and deep friendships. The band entered new spheres within their voyage, with their astonishment leading the way. They embraced everything which was new to them, swallowed every sparkle of inspiration. The result is an album overloaded with bombastic sound. KIDS N CATS grew older and became more mature – and more crazy.
In 11 Tracks they show a more personal side of them, letting the listener come closer than ever. Emotions are central, anger in particular. The album presents singing and shouting in 6 languages about topics such as growing old, food, numbers and feminist utopias. The album captures the overwhelming impressions of a world tour, combining their search for meaning far away and their homesickness in 11 Tracks.
France is the second single from the upcoming album, a collaboration with Senegalese rapper Nix. The song was recorded in France, Senegal and Austria, the music video was shot in Vienna.
